  Had this after a Clos de Porrêts of the same year: more power, density and length, the tannins are there, but less rough. Cherries, soil and sublime spices. This wine has more on all levels vs his 1er cru brother. It was popped and poured, a bit shy at the beginning, but evolved nicely in the glass.

  Still young but evolving so well. Long very nice fine grained tannins, with loads for cherry fruit core wrapped in some leather. Opened up over 2 hours, but still showing its youth and enough structure to go another 20
