First drank at a parador in Baiona, a stone's throw from the Rías Baixas D.O. (see also 1-27-13 tasting note). Tonight, same delightful nose and fruit with refreshing arugula on the finish. Delicious with walleye pulled through a hole in the ice, pan fried, with Minnesota wild rice and roasted asparagus. 90+

Pale steely yellow green; steely nose with salt water, red apple, pear, and slight lemon; medium plus body, rounder acid, softer texture, salt water echoes on the clean finish; good.

It smells like grapefruit, pear, gooseberry and light honey. Had before dinner with New Zealand white cheddar, perfect.

Соломенно-зеленоватое. В аромате абрикосовый джем, булка, чайный тон. Во вкусе некоторая минеральность, розовые ноты.
