Still pale, but now beautifully integrated yet showing enough distinct Abarino fruit. Maybe I should be prepared to keep these wines 5 years although they're released very young.

Color: Light yellow. Nose: White flowers, tropical fruits. Mouth: Consistent with the nose. In addition there is a mineral seashell aroma that is typical for Albarino. Peaches, too. In the mid-palate nice sourness. Nice fresh but delicate acidity. Good summerwine for the terrace or balcony. Perfect match with fish, sea food and salads. I guess it would be an inferior match with cheese. 12.5% alc.

Clean and crisp with nice aromatics. Not as complex as some previous vintages but still very good.

Deep yellow colour, deeper than anticipated. Was this oxidised, perhaps?
Grassy, tropical fruit on the nose, with hints of citrus.
Medium acidity and slight sherbet on the palate, suspicion of elderflower, aromatic. Almost viognier-like.
[£15 at Loki Wines (Birmingham) La Rioja Alta tasting]
Not bad, but personally I would have liked a little more acidity.
