Slow-ox 45 minutes, tasted over 3 hrs; bottle from secondary market, cork soaked through -lighter red mild bricking -moderately aromatic faint cherry stewed tomato mature element -med+ acidity, med- weight faded crunchy red fruited cherry and raspberry with good verve moderately sappy and transparent, OK complexity, med- tannins and a prickle of acidity lift the finish -very nice and early on its maturity plateau with plenty of life left

Aromas of earth, forest floor and pine. Rather intriguing but not expected. Flavors of sour cherry and earth. Very solid, and not in a very good place right now. It's lost its youthful strawberry/cherry fruit without having developed much else (yet). Good.
