Best of the recent Arneis I have been able to get hold of. Typical pear apple apricot on the nose and in the mouthacidity just right, still no trace of almonds ? something that has been seen to go missing in modern Arneis , but a decent drink for all that.

Notes of baked pears, green apples, vanilla and toasted brioche. Fresh with great acidity but without being tart. Great value and a wonderful grape variety (Arneis), which makes such a welcome change to all the usual French grapes that dominate the white wine world.
Textbook, wildly fantastic Arneis. Take on the cooler side, gives more vibrancy to the minerality without losing fruit. Wet dolostone, under-ripe starfruit, mashed green pear. Yellow apricot and faint hazelnut finish.

Wine Education Service - Piemonte (Imperial College): Light green gold.
Citrus nose with vegetal notes.
Fruity, citrus, creamy, silky mid, quite long - probably better to go for the 2012.

Great Arneis. Powerful noise of minerals, stone, lemon, golden apple and apricot. Same on plate with great minerality and length.
