I am being told that the Roero has biodyversity which means its easy to go biodynamic. The winery sits on very heavy sea shell and sandy soil and is at an extreme angle.
Arneis I am being told has a similar growing pattern to Viognier. Which means you can make it flabby. It also needs allot of hand holding - it means little rascal.
What they have changed over time is lowering yields (while not raising prices if you get the equation). The name means badly oriented or turned - referring to the house. The labels are all modeled after taro cards.
Good stuff at $20.

Nose if relatively light, notes of green fruits, pear and citrus, some herbal character. Palate is dry and full bodied with notes of pear, apple, citrus, herbaceous notes. Somewhat like a Viognier in structure (though if a bit less full and a tad more acid) with some Loire Savignon Blanc notes on the palate. Very interesting wine.

Fresh and bright but not much left. Some pear and other stone fruit. Was a lot bolder previously. Jump on this when young.

No note taken on this, but I remember it as refreshing, medium-bodied, quite well made, if not hugely memorable in the specifics. £10.

Floral, urtepreget. Noe fersken. Lett parfyme. Rund og bløt stil. Slepen, tørr finish.
