  • Bloody typical...just as I reach my last bottle this one is now just reaching its best. A PG with some weight. Nutty, waxy, buttery, and slightly honeyed aroma. A touch of candied citrus fruit peel. Dense palate but with a refreshing acidity and plenty of creamy fruit.

  • Smooth, somewhat creamy texture. A little oily with quite some weight to it. Maybe even leesy. A little sharp / bitter on the finish, after a reasonably sweet mid palate. Not especially long but a nicely drinkable wine. Perhaps drinks more like a chardonnay or a semillon than a PG. Interesting and certainly better with some bottle development.

  • We enjoyed this wine over a nice meal to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The wine paired nicely with the scallops and was fairly simple and mild.

  • Smooth with acidic backup. Flowered; lemony apricot; good finish.

  • This is a clean wine with pale lemon colour followed by a clear presence of legs going down the glass walls smoothly.
At the nose, the aromas have a medium intensity, where green fruits like green apple and pear are clear, encompassing a scent of tropical fruits like pineapple and a lemony, citrusy character with a flowery ending peaked by honeysuckle.
This wine is fully developed in aromas.
The palate is off-dry, with a medium low acidity as the alcohol in the same level and a delicate medium body with a well defined fruity and floraly character and medium flavour aromas.
The finish is medium in lenght.
This wine is balance, at some point creamy and with a soft texture, however the alcohol could be more integrated and it lacks a little of acidity to overcome such texture.
This wine has to be consume now, once it is becoming tired in few months on.
Therefore quality level is good considering a fair expression of the grape and a lively aromas, however the lack of acidity and the need of better integrated alcohol step down the wine for becoming very good.
