My first encounter with Puligny Montrachet Les Demoiselles (a vineyard located right next to Montrachet), unfortunately this bottle is slightly advanced. 2011/2012 White Burgundy Blind Tasting – Ripe yellow fruits, oily tropical fruits with fair bit of oak toast. Grand cru weight. The most mature wine of the evening. I would have guessed 2008 Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru if it wasn’t 11/12 theme. Advanced. (86/100)

I am not an expert on Puligny-Montrachet. Having said that, it has rilped tropical fruits, round, beautiful and brilliant color. At the end, right acidity and slightly bitter.

This is very backward and restrained despite a 2 hour decanting. The wine has ripe tropical fruit, oak and minerals on the nose. Palate is fat with some acidity supporting it. This wine needs at least 5-8 more years to enter its drinking window. Its extremely difficult to give it a fair score as the wine shows more potential with more time in the glass. 90 tonight with 92 potential

Popped and drunk Honey, flowers, a hint of fresh fish in a nice way on the nose. Mineral, orange peel nose. A type of rubber, over ripe pear flavors. Acid is a medium high. Weight medium. Limestone flavors, a bit of lime with out the acid flavors as well.
