  Purchased direct from winery
  
  Color: ruby/garnet
  Aroma: medium/full intensity. Complex aromas of fresh berries and
  cherries.
  Body/flavor: Medium/full body. Complex flavors of dried and fresh dark
  fruits and berries. Very well-balanced.
  Aftertaste: lingering
  
  Served with risotto and a pork/veal ragu. I think this wine has another 4 - 6 years of maturity.

  Wow! Non credevo fosse tanto buono. Gran bel Barolo, meravigliosamente godibile, dal sorso golosissimo e compulsivo.
  Maturazione perfetta, il 2008 è ora al punto giusto, e mi pare che con Baroli meno "importanti", meno austeri, sia un'annata davvero eccellente che dà risultati di fragranza e godibilità comparabile ai meravigliosi Barbaresco 2008.
  Un naso immediatamente disponibile alla migliore fruizione, senza alcuna ossigenazione. In poco tempo si apre in un ventaglio di profumi ampio e complesso, come da copione. Ma in bocca è ancor più sorprendente, vellutato e setoso, con un equilibrio tra acidità, tannini, succo e ciccia davvero encomiabile. La sorsata in bocca è di una completezza davvero formidabile. 29 euro spesi talmente bene che trovandone ne comprerei una cassa.
  Se ne avete, bevetelo ora, questo equilibrio è da cogliere al volo.
  Un vino che sfiora l'appaluso.

  Nice deep ruby color. Well balances. Medium bodied with nice rounded tannins. Smooth finish. Casis, Oak, Cedar, and chocolate.
