Interesting. Strong nose, lots going on there. Tar, petroleum, creosote, pine sap, resin, etc. The taste was somewhat different, but included hints of these things. Overall, the taste was somewhat faded, but still quite a bit there. Add flavors of pine, juniper, honeysuckle, spice. Color was golden. Finish fairly short.
Net conclusion - enjoyed it, but as much for the fact that it was different than for the actual taste.
