Deep red , faint hint of orange edge. Black cherry , graphite , raspberry , oak and smoke nose. Black cherry, alcohol, turpentine, graphite and tobacco taste. Red and black fruit, structured tannins and fair acidity to balance. Deep strong and complex. Serve with steak.

Rustic with a tannic edge. Liquified black licorice, barnyard, roasted herbs, calamata olives and black fruits, slightest accents of black pepper and vanilla oak. Killer with slow cooked lamb shoulder.

Rustic, a bit young and harsh, mouth filling layers of fruit, dusty provence herbs, minerality. Nice brash, long and soulful finish stands up to food. Wait another 3 or 5 years before trying my next bottle.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #106; Provence (By BD): Beautiful bouquet with ripe dark and red berries, some licorice, minerals, tobacco, autumn and rustc impressions. On the palate dark berries and cherries, herbs, chocolate and a touch of sweetness. Beautiful acidity and supple tannin with a pleasant bite. Some pleasant bitterness in the finish. In fact a beautiful wine in its young maturity stage. Can last for another 3+ years as well. 88+

Similar to my previous tasting, but a bit softer: rustic, nice full mouthfeel, with wild earthy fruit. I'll wait another 5 years for my last bottle.
