At a prime drinking plateau. Plenty of dense black and red fruit, some dense stony minerality and plenty of fine grained tannins. Acidity still fresh. I'd say this has a lot of life left in it.

Still very primary and disjointed. The pieces are all there, but the acidity and tannins are dominating at this point and little fruit is coming through. Wait another year or two.

Peter Weygandt Event (Wine Exchange in Orange, CA): Dark red-garnet. A hint of caramel, almost like a tawny port. Plenty of ripe plum/blackberry fruit, good persistence, a strong structure, and a long finish. Bandol with bones.

Mellow and rounded with dark red fruit notes and a pleasing touch of gaminess. A hint of anise too. Perfect wine for grilled lamb and fennel.

In it's prime right now. Expressive nose and vibrant palate. Tannins nicely integrated. Beautiful expression of Bandol in a hot vintage.
