Delicious clos de vougeot, very refined, not showing the usual rusticity or firmness, nor the mid slope clay influence, remarkable for its seamless purity. Ripe for the vintage, just lacking a bit of grand cru power and lenght on the finish, but that's compensated by its silky mid palate, and its hedonistic qualities. Fine CDV.

This was fully mature and drinking well, opened and corked back, drank over a one day period this was best at about 10-12 hours later. With a palate of some dark berries and also some minerality.

This struggled a bit out of the bottle, as it was a bit thin and austere, but with 2 hours of air this filled out a bit and was very enjoyable. Similar to my last note with a nice mix of fruit, earth, some green but in a good way for me. It was outclassed tonight by a '11 Mt.
