This wine is still good. It is now a straw gold colored, buttery textured wine with floral honey and apple blossoms on the nose. It still has some forward acidity on the tongue, with a fading vanilla, a sweetness that reminds you of pineapple and finishes with the tartness of a green apple.

A somewhat disappointing version of this wine. It seems the wine is aging fairly rapidly and I might have caught it part way down the downhill slope. All the basic great characteristics of a Hobb chard are there - pretty nose, excellent concentration with fruit and mineral flavors, etc- but the wine isn’t that well integrated and the finish is a bit abrupt. Have one more bottle of this so will be interesting to see what that one is like.

Still young and lively with crisp acidity running through it. Slightly oxidized with lemon peel, minerals, and an almost chlorine like element going on. Likely peaking with 2-3 years in the tank.

Classic and drinking well now but won’t last long. Drink now and enjoy!

Not much on the palate. Rather blah, as was the last bottle.
