This was on par and in the same flight as the 05 Kistler. Richer, fuller, but alcohol separation--disjointed and to me fell apart already. 0 pts by the group! This puppy has seen better days. Blind Dirty Dozen at Capital Seafood BH

I'm getting easier in my old age, lol, but this wine STILL benefits from an ice cube in the glass to water it down from its hyper ultra uber concentration. At 14.6% its like they purposely got rid of some of the water so we could drink concentrated Chardonnay. Just because you can doesn't mean we should Paul!
In any event at 12 years its holding up well (why shouldn't it, its more concentrate than wine...) but I suspect its gotta be on the backside of getting better.

Saturday Lunch with Friends and Wine (Prairie Grass - Northbrook IL): Ripe stone fruit with a butterscotch hint. Enough concentration to have held up well to this point, but it's time to drink up. Warm notes on finish will most likely become increasingly prominent.

A slightly butterscotch flavor gives way to a leesy flavor. This wine seems to have lost a bit of its vivacity and I would recommend drinking up.
