Nice burgundy, lacking concentration you get from most grand cru and really more of a light premier cru but for an ‘11, its doing well and should probably be drunk now.
Beet root, red fruit, some earth, gained weight with air to give some viscosity and depth to the mid palate, a bit of a minus finish. Started off tight and needed some time, but also fell off day 2 after overnight in the fridge suggesting drinking now is the way to go

Fine Vines Burgundy Tasting (Vin Chicago - Highland Park IL): Tasting, brief note. Light red and black cherry with some roasted meat. Very good length, good+ balance.

Complex nose, bright fruits, tight on the palate. Lighter weight than expected. Overall very nice wine, but quite expensive for what you get. 90+

Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2014 Day 2: Côte de Nuits 3-18-13: Sweet Pinot Noir nose--charmer! Palate shows green cedar, sweet PN fruit, a bit austere mineral/clay-wise amid sweetness--hollow midpalate for now.
