  Forgot I had these. Opened with low expectation, as I thought this would be tired. It was not. Vibrant fruit, remaining good acidity, nice balance. A great wine with a red sauced pasta, not complex, but very flavorful.

  Big and bold, perhaps a little too big for me 15.5% ABV. OGRES3's comparison to a Turley Zin was surprisingly apt and not just for the high alcohol. This was dense and concentrated and lacking a little of the Barbera typicity I was hoping for. 90-91

  Very much like a Turley from rattlesnake vineyard. Big and bold. Very very dark purple. Powerful nose. Fresh ripe bold, almost spritzy, dark red and blue fruit. Complex, interesting, probably too much for filet but great with pot roast. Long finish.

  Gave it almost 2 hours of air. Fairly opaque. Nose OK. Full bodied blue and purple fruit. Integrated, smooth, not overly ripe. Long finish. On the new world side of wines.
