A bit of that Hirsch saline forest breeze flowing in the nose along with some dusty cherry and tertiary development starting. Light bodied with a long sour cherry finish, this is a really delicious wine if still a bit lip-smackingly sweet.

Matured beeeeautifully. Aerated, filtered and consumed... Still bright cherry but in a matured sort of way that we loved with some brambly & earthy subtlety. Truly one of the best vineyard designate Pinots.

PnP. Perfect cork and fill. Medium deep red with lightening at the rim. Lovely nose of cherry, pomegranate, and a touch of lavender; Little in the way of the iron/mineral sense I often get from Hirsch. Lovely smooth palate inpression with good red fruited flavors and some savory notes on the finish. This bottle is much better than the last; still drink up but quite good.
