  Colour: medium(+) garnet
  Nose: medium(+) intensity, tertiary, developing. Dried rose petal, pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry. Maybe blueberry. Cedar, nutmeg, cinnamon. Dried oranges. Prunes. Earthy, mushrooms, forest floor, dried Eucalypt leaves, leather, tobacco. With air, maybe some plum jam. Really aromatic and savoury and lovely.
  Palate: dry, high tannins, medium(+) acidity, high alcohol (14,5%), medium(+) bodied. Medium intensity, medium(+) length finish. Dried rose petal, pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry. Blueberry. Cedar, nutmeg, cinnamon. Dried oranges. Prunes. Earthy, mushrooms, forest floor, dried Eucalypt leaves, leather, tobacco. Elegant, somewhat lean, but with delicious savoury tertiary and dried fruit character. Tannins are pronounced but smooth and beautifully integrated -- archetypical Nebbiolo tannins. Gorgeous.
  Conclusions: outstanding. Can drink now, but might be ok with further short-term ageing -- but I'm not familiar enough with the wine to know for certain!

  Vin d'une grande finesse avec une belle trame de petits fruits rouges offrant une grande de longueur en bouche. Ce barbaresco demande un bon passage en carafe. Il était meilleur 2 jours après son ouverture! Les tannins étaient beaucoup mieux intégrés.

  Agree with the earlier notes. This is gloriously made but very lean and tight right now. Give it a couple of years.
