  • It was recommended that this wine be consumed by 2004. I found this lone bottle in my cellar and drank it in 2007. It was unbelievably good. I wish I had another full case. It was expensive as the purchase price was $39.99 per bottle.

  • Tasted at dinner at Steve & Barb's house. Supposedly this winemaker worked for Rochioli and got his choice of fruit/barrels to use under the Castalia label. Dena & I brought this figuring everyone would get a kick out of us bringing a Pinot! Nice spice and earth on the nose without being dirty. Strawberries on the palate. Not bad at all, for a Pinot!
