  Cool blue violet and sweet acid on the nose. Just a slight hint of sweet fruit in the mouth. Linear, middleweight, and transitions into quite a long finish. Great village wine. Somewhat better an hour after decanting, it could still pop and pour pretty well.

  Really nice and very classic Chambolle. Perfumed and polished nose, nicely acidic on the palate, with no trace of oak but plenty of fruit. No hurry with this one but it is right at the spot right now.

  Absolutely gorgeous. Sappy red fruits. Tannins are resolved. Nice depth and breadth. Long finish.

  More integrated and mature form the last time I had it 2+ years ago. The 2012 vintage fullness is seen in traces as this Chambolle is slightly fuller than more classic years. This is not a negative though as the wine is still very well balanced. Red fruit, hints of sous bois, but in a typical Burgundy package of being lithe at the same time carry good depth. Fresh floral and red fruit notes on the nose makes, along with good acidity and brightness make this a terrific village Chambolle.
