Picked up tdy for holidays and mother in laws 79th bday...I don’t have much experience with older champagne, but this seemed refined. Golden, but not the color that makes you think turned...fruit still there...smooth, lovely, food friendly...I have a couple that likely get devoured over the holidays...

Very nice, clean, light yeast, peach/apricot pit, very slight age notes, good depth and length. At Broken Spanish, with melted cheese dish, tomale, chicharonne, snapper.

Still on the Young side, with caramel and sweet apples on the nose, also a fresh minerality that adds to the complexity. On the plate a lovely elegant mousse, high acidity but also rich sweet apples, mineral, grapefruit and sweet fudge that lasts a good twenty seconds.

Thomas Pinot Noir Vertical (Dan and Elise's, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This was firing on all cylinders for me. A very elegant and sophisticated wine. Excellent nose with red and green apple, yeast, lightly toasted, lightly floral, fine sea air minerality. The palate shines with apple, yeast, toast, almond, and a crystalline minerality all on a energetic bright medium body. 93+ to 94pts.

Thomas Pinot Noir Vertical (Dan's House): This was a solid 93 today. This champagne was elegant and nuanced. There was great balance.
