I really liked my tasting note for the '08 vintage of this wine. Need to find some more bottles. "Dark yellow, almost amber color. Rich nose of green and yellow fruit with a slight oxidative touch. The palate is lush and full, combining ripe and tart fruit, powerful minerality, salinity, and a nutty finish. Very interesting wine!"

Movia, Niedrist and Clerico (Trentina's): Consistent wine. Light golden/slight green in color. The nose has a lot of minerality. A bit of pears. Nice oily/creamy texture. Good acidity. Perhaps slightly less vibrant than a prior bottle. Could be due to the extreme cold outside; it just didn't feel warm. In any event, there is a lovely complexity and depth to make up for that. Nice minerality. Also a dry honey quality, if that makes sense. My last bottle and that's fine, I will look for more recent vintages.

Deep yellow. Nose of lemon curd, almond skin, and a subtle, leesy, sherry note. Mild skin contact, not a full orange wine, results in a wine with some complexity but a light, crisp body.

Lots of Italians and a couple others (Cleveland): Back on track. IIRC, the vineyards for this are mostly in Slovenia but some cross into Friuli. Golden in color. I would guess this saw some skin contact but maybe not. The nose is really nice with pears and a slight herbal note. On the palate, full bodied but definitely a nice back bone of acidity to carry the weight. Slightly oily texture. Lots of pears but also a honeyed note. Worked well with the initial courses of food.

Actually super clean, tangerine peel and some secondary complexity. Just a touch of tannic grip but really beautiful
