Absolutely fantastic, even if modern in style. Full package of sweet glycerine on the nose and nuanced pure Sangiovese on the palate. Label reads 15% abv and it does not taste hot but the alcohol is definitively hidden and present. Great steak wine, and just now entering drinking window. Decanted 1 hour.

The most beautiful, balanced, delicious expression of Brunello di Montalcino we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The nose, mouthfeel, and balance are all so perfectly put together now. Tannins have nicely receded to allow the fantastic expression of fruit to show through. I don't see how this will improve with much more aging, so if you have one, I encourage you to open it up, let it breathe for an hour or so, and enjoy. I sure wish we had one (or more) bottles left in our library.

It tastes like cranberry, blackberry, plum, tobacco, prune, cherry and stoniness. Incredible.

Popped 2 375s for dinner. Dropped into a decanter for 30 minutes served with dinner, finished later in the night.
Dark cherries, dusty road, dried herbs, long fine tannins. Perhaps the slightest bit of heat damage (coffee grounds) but still very nice.
