Pnp. Opened with pencil shavings and potpourri. Evolved into more barnyard. Really good wine. Interesting, long, complex. Ready, for sure. No tannin. Probably will evolve but in a very good place.

Maybe I'm just not a Barolo guy. Have had a couple I really liked but feels like I'm about 0 for my last 5, including this one. Smells a little funky, comes across a little hot and just not all that interesting. Perhaps just too early but mostly I just think I need to stop kissing frogs and stick w/ what I know and love.

2010 PECCHENINO SAN GIUSEPPE BAROLO- Blind: nice, inviting nose with a whiff of talc and black raspberry in the nose joined by sandalwood, tar, liquorice and dark fruit in the taste; it had layered complexity and relatively soft tannins
