Pineapple the first burst on the nose, then grapefruit and some wax, maybe some smokiness too. With a little warmth in the glass some fresh root ginger emerges. Then some added melon on the palette with sharp line of acidity developing after swallowing, then leaving some vanilla and ginger on the finish. Lovely balance, but if splitting hairs I’d like a bit more intensity/concentration.

Two hour slow oxidation. Medium yellow with green flecks, fading to a pale straw outer edge. Classic sauvignon blanc characteristics come to the fore in this 80%/20% blend. A pyrazine dominant nose of cut grass, red bell pepper, and tomato leaf combine with fruit at the more tropical end of the spectrum; passion fruit and under ripe pineapple. The wine is mineral with wet, crushed rocks, a feint hint of rubber, and candle wax. The palate is bright, fresh, and medium bodied with a waxy texture and really focused acidity which builds and builds on the finish.

Fruit is dense to the point of almost displaying red fruit cherry cough syrup characteistics. at this point evolved as far as t wll go and the alcohol is overpowering any flavors. drink up

Elegant and classic nose, still quite young. Good mouthfeel, with prominent acidity. Many years left.
