  Short note from De Kersentuin Wijn Club 19-12-22: semillon overruled the sauvignon. Nice floral and "sweet" impressions. A very good performance, mouth filling.

  Drinking at its potential apogee, the nose with its floral character is made even better with slightly honeyed lemon peel, pomelo, tart green apple and honeydew notes. Round, a bit oily and with good sweetness remaining, if you are holding any, it is time to drink up.

  In the glass, medium yellow with relatively thick legs. Everything else's all grapefruit. Ripe grapefruit and white bean on the nose. Nice line of acidity, on the palate, feels very balanced and elegant. Good finesse but lacks oomph and complexity. A commendable finish with pea and vanilla afternotes.

  75% Sauvignon blanc, 25% Semillon. Cold, out of the fridge and opened and poured. Light golden hue. A complex white with some nutty secondary tones. Perhaps some vanilla. Nice oak and mineral notes. 90-91 pts.
