  (Writing note from memory the next evening) Drank last night with dinner of bratwurst, bread and salad. Good. A little darker purple in color and taste than I usually like Sangiovese. Fruity with some tannin. Down towards boysenberry and black cherry flavors. Color was a deeper purple towards garnet at the edge. A bit sweeter than what we usually like out of a Sangiovese.
