Bright red. Aromas of bright ripe cherry, and spring flowers. Flavors of ripe cherry and blueberry with acid dominating the end to give a nice hint of citrus zest lingering in the mouth on a medium finish. Excellent lighter bodied red for a spring or summer day.

Barboursville Vineyards Tasting (Charlotesville, VA): tasted at the winery. light ruby colored with a lovely fresh cherry nose. lots of ripe red cherries, some violets, and soft-textured tannins. medium acid and a smooth finish with a hint of tobacco make this a really yummy, easy drinking sangiovese. nice job.
