From magnum. Golden yellow in colour, a hint of petrol on the nose, mixed with notes of crushed stones, yellow fruit, herbs. On the palate bright and vibrant, great acidity, very mineral. Intense and long finish. Slowly drink up. 91-93

Aromas of citrus candy and oils, apple, honeysuckle, sage... ripe fruit attack, super tart and stony finish. Holding up beautifully, probably not going to improve, but should be worth following a few more years.

A VDP Ortswein, so a classic Village here, in this vintage mosstly from younger grapes of the Morstein, full of energy still, balanced and really tasty, this one is showing delicious white peach fruit, some pears, but most impressive is this chalky mineral core, would say on top now, good lively tension with a long salty aftertaste,

I might have been carried away a little when tasting it for the first time in 2014, but this really is a wonderful Ortswein. Generous fruit, open and expressive, very fresh, very mineral with some herbal notes, great precision and vibrancy, so pure and bright. Great length. I’m happy I have a couple of bottles left. 91-93
