  This is an 'Aus Ersten Lagen' bottling, (premier cru). Coming fresh and lifted, with solid mid palate, still quite primary, tropical fruits and mild spices, delicious and balanced, fleshy, fermented to 13% alc.

  Otra botella de este excelente vino, tomado en magnum y que resuta ideal para reuniones familiares y que en esta ocasión dio un resultado similar al de pasado año: Color amarillo intenso con tendencia verdosa, aroma de mediana intensidad, mineral, frutas tropicales, piña y cítricos. Boca de alta acidez, cremosa amargante, potente y viva, final bastante largo

  Petrol notes starting. Some CO2. Oily entry. Rich and expansive, fills the palate. This is Tropical! Mangos, pineapple and passion fruit cocktail. Good length with slight bitter edge remaining. A riper vintage with less mineral edge, but a big improvement on my last tasting note three years ago.

  In der Nase jahrgangstypisch reichlich gelber Zitrus und auch recht nussig. Vor allem mit Luft wird eine klare Holzprägung deutlich (mag ich), allerdings nicht vanillig oder ähnlich übertrieben sondern eher eine alte Schatulle. Außerdem ebenfalls mit Luft reichlich helles, reifes Steinobst und eine sehr hell-steinige, kreidige Prägung.
  
  Am Gaumen ebenfalls recht zitrisch, mit hoher mineralischer Spannung. Hier auch deutlich kreidig. Sehr gute Säurestruktur; steht anfangs etwas daneben, integriert sich dann aber sehr gut. Auch hier deutlich nussig. Das ist schon ein Maulvoll Wein, durchaus üppig, allerdings wird’s nie wirklich breit und der Wein tappt auch nicht in die Zuckerfalle der 2015er-Version.
  
  Sehr gute Länge.
  
  Ich war am Start bei 87 Punkten, über den Abend und mit Luft gehts stark Richtung 90.
  
  WVL in maximal 2 Jahren; ich glaube stark, dass wir hier in jedem Fall nicht vor dem Zenit unterwegs sind.
