Light in colour and clear, as if it was bottled last year. Citrus, honey and hay on the nose with just a hint of petroleum that dissipates with time. Perfectly balanced in the mouth, with a lightness to match the intensity - and a lingering finish. This is optimum maturity for this wine now. (Note that I have re-calibrated my points to match the original values and leave the inflated point-giving most here are prone to. 88 means this is an excellent wine.)

Delicious Mosel aromas with honey, yellow fruits and some petro. Feels semi sweet. Seemless, velvety and delicious on the palate, as always with J. J. Prüm.

PNP. cork leaked somewhere along the line before I recently acquired this one. excellent fill though and cork otherwise fine. color of this was darker straw. nose on this one showing maturity with loads of TDN on a background of mostly pineapple fruit with some lemon curd behind it. swishing shows wonderful acid structure keeping the density of the wine light despite the significant RS. sipping this loses some of that and moves it into a denser sweeter profile. became less sweet with warming (it was a little too cold to start). this one is resolving to secondary flavors but only partway there so I expect continued positive evolution - if you enjoy mature Riesling this only seems halfway there.

Richard Juhlin Top 100 Day 1 @ Gustav Zürich (Restaurant Gustav Zürich): Not blind
even white capsule it is unbalanced because the sweetness is dominating. Still very young, maybe in a few years rounder. 91-92

To me this is getting old and tired. It still tastes correct, but it lacks acidity to last....
