Not as impressed as my previous bottle, but still a very solid wine. Dark fruit, herbs, meat and gravel. Slightly reductive at opening (as with most Canary wines) so make sure to give it some air.

Revisited after some 12+ months. I don't think there has happened any significant development. The fruit is restrained, more spicy and tannic (bitter) than juicy. Big muscular acidity. I love the energy, which is more deep than powerful. Earthy tones on the palate, apple skin, light rustic. Tasty. Long and with sense of place. I like it very much.

Dark leaves, black cherry, licorice and pungent sawdust and less savory. medium+ acidity, dry, medium+ body, medium very firm furry tannin, medium alcohol. Long vanilla and iron, leafy finish and cereal. Okay balance(lack of fruit but beautiful furry tannin), good length, good intensity, okay complexity. very good. 87.
