The nose is a mix of slate, salt and lemon rind. The palate, however, reveals layers of melon, tropical fruits, minerals and a lemon rind finish that is exciting and complex, for a Greek wine. Delicious now.

The nose is clean, the intensity is med/med+, profile seems dense and complex, ripe peach and stone fruit, there is a dense green fell to it like a think stalk but offering to the complexity rather than being underripe, ripe lime, a touch of sulfur still, youthful. The wine is dry, body, intensity and acidity are med/med+, alcohol is med, the green/stalky element is quite more evident here, feels so fresh with almost a hint of CO2 in the tip of the tongue, lemon/lime, less ripe fruit in the palate, its dense but rather disconnected at this point, med+ finish of lime zest, a touch of sulfur, nutty note in the med finish. Very good quality, need time to settle down.

Still young and needs time to evolve further. The oak is at the forefront but not overdone. Good ripe fruit character, light waxy texture but with a good acidity throughout. Light exotic fruit twist too, nutty, peach. Needs some more time in bottle and this has a lot of life ahead of it. 50/50 Semillon and Assyrtiko. 89-90
