Holding well after three years this wine has a nose of medium+ intensity - but I think it has lost the exuberance of youth - with peach, melon, pineapple a whiff of vegetality and smoke. Quite full bodied with crisp citrus fruit and acidity balancing viscous mouthfeel. Combines crisp fresh fruit with maturity and body. Clean mouthwatering finish.

Clear, deep lemon, lemon green edges. No way as opulent or exuberant as the 2008. Clean, very ripe citrus, slight tropical fruits, herbal, grassy notes. Medium-Full body, citrusy, nice acidity. Possibly more sulphites? 87 at this stage but should improve with time.

Similar notes to last time where I compared it to a fine white bordeaux. This time it was tasted after a Keller Esrtes Gewachs Riesling. It seemed after the Riesling that it had no acidity...although it has and is a very well made wine.

This is this winerie's prestige cuvee white, made from semillon and assyrtico. It seems that after experimenting for several years, they have standardized this wine's style. The 2009 tastes and smells exactly like the 2008, to an extent that one would wonder how such repetability between vintages can be achieved. Straw yellow with some green hues. Extremely fragreant and particular, if somewhat artificial nose with peanuts, ripe apricot, tropical fruits like mango, lychee and passion fruit, yellow peach and mellon. Mid-full bodied with sweetness, rich fruit and balancing acidity. Fairly long, peanut-like finish. To match with asian cuisine dishes. Very enjoyable and fruit-forward. Might change in character with aging, but I doubt it will get any better. Although identical to the 2008, I did not score it as high (91-92) due to the lack of any vintage character.

Medium straw yellow with some greenish hues. Exuberant nose of great complexity. Citric fruit (lime, lemon), Stone fruit (peach and appricot), Tropical fruit (gooseberry and melon), herbal vegetality. Quite full bodied, with medium alcohol, very rounded and harmonious with great balance between ripe and more unripe flavours. Also acidity to match the extract. Flavours similar to the aromas in the nose with the addittion of a slight vanilla aftertaste. Very full mid-palate, intense and concentrated. Very long, lingering finish. A wine to match the best white Bordeaux at least at its youth! No idea how this wine can age..
