  • From a beautiful magnum and this wine is the ever present crowd pleasing beauty vintage in vintage out.
A superb marriage of the brightness of assyrtiko from the cooler north and the honey, riper stone fruit semillon. A note below calls it a beautiful french lady fell in love with a Greek and the result was this wine and indeed that sums it up very well.
Bright and energetic at this young stage, good use of oak, rich , soft honey dollops. Super elegant and at a world level. 92-93

  • An intense bouquet, the fine acidity of the Assysrtiko is combined with the fruity aromas of the Semillon in an excellent way, very good melting on the tongue, long-lasting finish, an exceptional wine from Greece.

  • Shy initially, feels like a subdued Assyrtiko. With some air on top of the mineral and earthy elements you get some ripe stone fruit, some white flowers with honey nuances in the background. Polished mid palate with good depthh of flavour, high acidity, sweet and ripe stone fruit with long length. Solid as always. 93-94

P.S. this bottle is ultra heavy; I think the winery should consider a lighter bottle; ESG must enter the equation me thinks

  • Very elegant as always, well made and this wine ranks way better than among its Greek peers but among world wide peers.
Soft honey, nice ripe fruit, solid velvety palate and this makes for a great alternative to soft oaky chardonnay. Bright and energetic, well polished wine and really the elegance here is what sets it apart. Granted not your typical Greek wine (in a good way) and would be diff to place as a Greek wine but that's because of the quality. Very solid. 92
