Very well made and atypical Greek white, with a blend of semillon and assyrtiko. The semillon rounds out the assyrtiko's inherent acidity and gives texture and a bit of flesh. Certainly one for a wide variety of foods. Certainly lovely with a chicken roasted with oregano. Perhaps just beginning to loose a bit of vim. Drink up now

Two very consistent bottles of this pretty and well made wine from the excellent Biblia Chora. Almost 50-50 Semillon with Assyrtiko with some barrel ageing for sure. A wine of 2 faces and the 2 grapes work very well, with Semillon adding the breadth on the palate with light sweetness, supple feel and a waxy wrapping while the assyrtiko adds the green fruits, the acidity and a focus. Very solid blend of France and Greece. 90-91 and with good ageing capacity.
