Having a small vertical of vintage 2013, 2014 and 2015 side by side.
All 3 vintages are very identical with very small differences, also it could be that the wine maker was very good to get his wines consistent. Even though, the wine are relatively youthful, as wine evolve in the bottle, the outcome will be probably more significant.
All of them have pronounced nose intensity with notes of red cherries, strawberry and primarily red fruits. Still youthful and comes withe medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Tannin is polished.
The differences after tasting side by side is that 2014 have more freshness and probably more classic whereas 2015 is surprisingly now more approachable and palate feel warmer with some notes of mushroom. 2013 by its own will be nice but when placed side by side, the weak vintage and weather is probably the reason why the lower rating when compared.

Pronounced red cherry and minty grassy aromas. Flavours are mostly savoury and sour, with some smokes and twigs, and brambles, somewhat meaty as well. Tannins quite low, and silky. Violet floral finish, and does persist a bit. Nice!

Spicy and meaty (aromas and flavors), much moreso than the other two highlights (BM and Amoureuses). Typically those are characteristics that draw me in, but this didn't have as much appeal today though it's still clearly of the highest pedigree.

Groffier 2013 Tasting (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Tasting, brief note. My favorite of the 2013 lineup. Black cherry and berry with braised meat spice and some smoked meat character. Very long with a powerful finish that showcases its spice nicely.
