The community note to drink by 2024 is way off. While it’s drinking wonderfully, there is enough structure for a much longer haul. 10 years? So hard to quantify these things, but there is so much primary fruit and pleasant tannins that there is certainly no rush. Really rich and unctuous, currants and leather, touch of chocolate and cedar. Smells like Oakville, and certainly glad I have three more bottles.

Still plenty of primary fruit. Very plush, round, well balanced but limited complexity at this stage, hints of earthy tertiary depth. Could be another 4-6 years before peak. The strong pine/ cedar mentioned in other posts seems to have softened nicely.

Overripe dark cherries, licorice, black currants, figs;.almost petite syrah type of chew. Not what i was expecting from this cab, but still brings out a lot of flavors and includes a long finish. It is interesting. As if know anything. If it is not ready to drink yet, where will the flavors go from here?

Much more ready to drink now compared to our last bottle four years ago. No hurry to drink these, but definitely in its drinking window now.
