Winestreets does 2009 Red Burgundy (Acqua Restaurant): The nose was a little muted and slight oxidation issues. Chalk, grapefruit and hint of lemon. Short to medium finish and lacks the richness of the other two bottles.

Winestreets Burgundy Tasting (Acqua Restaurant): Nose: Some toast with ripe lemons. Palate: Great balance of acids to fruits. The ripe lemon shows w/ good minerality a medium finish. The exceptional balance of this wine is what stood out for me.

WineStreets / Acqua 2009 Red Burgundies (and a few nice Whites) (Acqua, White Bear Lake): My favorite of this flight. A bit more balanced and elegant as compared to the '04 Darviot-Perrin Meursault Les Perriees, and for my palate, more body than the Girardin in this flight. Really a beautiful wine, and one that was a "center of the plate pitch" for my palate. Elegant but not shy. I would buy this wine, and think it outperforms its price point. A superb pairing with the mussel course.
