Medium gold; ripe nose with some tropical fruit of pineapple and mango alongside ripe apple and some baked lemon; plenty of energy and freshness. While I liked this, it was not my favorite from Fichet as it seemed borderline overripe to me. Good, but a disappointment for the vintage and my expectation.

Excellent. A little more open and inviting than previous bottle. Very good structure and fruit, nice medium weight and delicious finish. Great accomplishment to shrimp gumbo with andouille sausage!

Very fine. Initially tight, then slowly opens to reveal subtlety and nicely ripe fruit flavors. A somewhat lean Meursault for the year, but should have an extended life as it slowly ages. Excellent food wine; easily cuts through rich or spiced food, in this case halibut in a Provençal sauce.

Best bottle of this yet. All of the classic fruit and mineral notes that this site produces along with some of the flint and walnut skin notes that a bit of age can bring. Still brisk but a bit calmer.
