  • What a fantastic surprise! Turns out I had three bottles left of this wine and it’s delicious. It’s smooth and fruity but not flabby. The other two will not last long…..

    Really holding well.

  • Decanted for two hours. Some sediment. Took to restaurant and had with spaghetti Bolognese. Deep nose of stewed plum, black currant and graphite
Full bodied and velvet tannins. This is most likely at its pinnacle. Jammy and what a finish! Beautiful wine.

  • Hard to imagine how it could be better. Fruit is still vibrant, texture is pleasing, depth is amazing. QPR is off the charts!

  • In its peak drinking window right now. Delivered and consumed the same day. Nose was typical aged cab with muted fruit and a little spice. Chilled in the fridge before opening and pouring into decanter. Excellent aged cab with dried semi sweet cherries and plum. High alcohol at 14.8 percent but barely noticible as the age has balanced everything. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy without being heavy. Silky smooth with the tannins now integrated with the fruit and acidity. On the palate tastes just like the nose. Cherries and plum really standing out with hints of semi sweet chocolate and baking spice. Again, the aging has really brought everything into balance and this wine was a joy to drink with dinner. Good QPR even without the club discount.
