Back, Back in the USofA (StrEat Restaurant, Austin, Texas): Had a light garnet core with an orange-brown, tawny colored rim, red fruit profile-reminiscent of sweet stewed and dried red fruits and pronounced earth . While half of our tasters found this wine showed well-integrated flavors and a nice balance between fruit, acidity, tannin and alcohol, and described the wine as being graceful, the other half of the group found this wine to be tight, sharp, and slightly volatile as the wine leaned towards having too much acidity. But impressive for its age and went well with food.
