Has held up well. There's plenty of fruit remaining, mostly sweet raspberries and red cherries, and there's plenty of autumnal foresty aromas as well. The big issue here is that there's quite a lot of tannic structure left that the fruit is not going to outlive and that leaves the finish tasting rather bitter; meat helps tremendously as it smooths out the tannin. This was probably better when the fruit and the structure were in better balance.
