  • Wonderfully balanced nose, extraordinary length and density given low alcohol. Strongly reminiscent in the best possible way of Haribo Tangfastics.

  • Lovely nose of citrus and apricot, flavors of grapefruit, lemon and Orange on the finish also get hints of Annato. This one is all citrus and lovely it’s hard to age these when they taste so good now! Nice acidity and a very long finish, never really notice the sweetness. Overall an excellent wine.

  • Bought from the Wine Soc UK Jan £52.00

Lovely wine, steely medium-sweet Riesling with wonderful fruit balanced with swirling acidity and decent mineral profile.

Long unctious mouth-feel, tingling, racy, proper depth with a real core and structure, a lilt at the end. Feels as though it will get better but is also drinking very well right now at 6 yrs old. Fruit: crisp apples, ripe apricot, lime and honey, all excellent. Ends medium-dry.

    N....not much, oddly.

    C....golden, looks medium-heavy body.

VFM?.....excellent wine but at £52.00 it should be. No bargain.

  • From a well stored half bottle. JG’s 2016 note on this is entirely consistent w mine. Nothing to add or argue with, except the halves are drinking beautifully now. So much acidity, I might have guessed Spatlese, especially because this is not a rich or full textured body, it’s all about mineral complexity and elegance. Loved it well chilled with a Chicken Korma Curry, lots of coconut and carrot.

  • Pale. Interesting mix of tropical fruit and white grapefruit giving a strong sweet/sour contrast. Mosel-like lightness.
