Aroma: Blueberry, plum, nuttiness. Cassis, rich dark fruits.
Tongue: Medium acidity, amazing lenght, and fine grained tannins.
A really decadent wine, which was absolutely divine. It was very rich. (Please forgive me for this extremely middle class comment) it was hard to drink it all, due to its extreme richness. Dont get me wrong, this was amazing. But a full bottle between two, after a recent taste change to lighter pinots, was tiresome.
Overally, amazing i would recommend. But, this is a 4 person wine.
Coravined a glass of this—let it decant in the glass for 2.5 hours. The color was a dark, deep red. Initially the alcohol was overpowering on the nose but with time, what a beautiful wine. Dark fruits, cola, and faint tobacco leaves. Tannins impeccably integrated and it was juicy and lush. Remarkable! Can’t wait to finish the bottle.

Deep purple color, with aromas of oak, baking spices, tobacco, flowers, and black fruit, and notes of blackberries, black cherries, spices, tobacco and earthy components. Medium-full bodied, with a nice, long finish. This is rich, smooth and seamless. The tannins have definitely softened with time. Harmonious and balanced, this is fresh, rich, and opulent. Accessible now, this will improve with a little more time. A great Paulliac!
Started drinking after 8 hour decant. Still evolving. Bursts of terroir in the mouth. Finely integrated with wood notes, forest, mushrooms, bell pepper, complex fruit and hint of cheese. Makes you think of cheese being produced down the street from the vineyard. Lingering finish. Not too powerful yet elegant.

PnP - drunk over 2 hours - just entering drinking window, several years to prime, will last for decades
Pauillac intensity on the palate - reserved, yet ripe and well-integrated on the nose
Tannin: M+ intensity, relatively mature / smooth
