  Something wrong with this bottle, the nose has nothing discernible about it nor in the mouth, fruit non existent apart from some grapefruit, I have left the rest to further try a day later, hope is is a one off as I have the rest of the six to drink.

  Left for 24hrs and amazingly it had transformed into the wine I expected, never experienced such a transformation before but glad it did.
  As an aside it was suggested that GGs need more years, not in my experience, some indeed go into a dumb phase but how long are you expected to wait, the length of time some suggest is ridiculous as no winemaker can seriously suggest you wait 12 years or more, as far as they are concerned the finished article is the one put in the bottle, Peter Keller for one said as much not long ago in an interview on the subject.

  This was light and ethereal on the nose and palate, good tension between sweetness and acidity, lovely notes of white peach, honey, pear and flowers. Riesling in its finest form

  Terrific nose and delicious wine. Not overtly sweet at all, and weightless on the palate with a long finish. I wish I had more of these left.
