Medium yellow-gold in color. Upon pouring shows aromas of just underripe mango, passion fruit, hint of yellow florals but then over time gets more classic with bruised apples, lanolin, beeswax and chalk. The palate shows a mix of sour tropical fruits, intense minerality, some soil tones and a long linear finish. There is intense acidity in the wine but also a kiss of honeyed sweetness that does not lend it as a shrill wine.

When a Guiberteau bottle is good it is heavenly indeed, when it is a bad bottle it is a real disappointment. This was the later, tasted predominantly like bruised apples, apple cidre / vinegar like in a raw wine. Signs of slight premox? Too little sulphur? People if you want to make ageworthy wines please use enough sulphur!

Great! Golden color. Spicy. Baked pear, apple. Perfect pairing with a Copine chicken pot pie!
