Purchased this lonely bottle by auction recently for a very low reasonable price, so what to do with one lonely bottle from a recommended producer in an outstanding vintage? Give it a try, very soon, deep black fruit, strong fragrance of this, enormous tension and richness, is this bourgogne or the new world? After a glance at the label I am really sure, this is Bourgogne, this deep racy attractive grip, persistent and all the way elegant, ending very long and convincing, AND: this is ONLY a village, recommended, a strong buy if found at auctions! ***-(****), 90-92(+?)

Needed a few hours of air before some dusty cellar aromas blew off. Quite a bit of power here, particularly for a village. Great acidity. Tannins are well rounded but still provide structure. Not very Vosne, but nice.

PnP. Opened to get the wyf out of her funky space after a not so good job interview.
After initial funk blew off, this was a very modern style burg. A bit more extracted, dark red with noticeable tannins and acid. Good fruit, spices. Enjoyable.

Color: Ruby red. Nose: Bitter-sweet chocolate on a back ground of raspberry and strawberry. Palate: Thick, lush and dense. Dark red fruits and chocolate persist on a fine tannins. Very satisfying stuff. A great wine maker in a great year can be quite impressive at the village level.

Tasted at the domaine. Bigger and spicier than the 2005 NSG La Charmotte, tasted before this wine. Good minerality and acidity. Nice balance. Very impressive.
