Slow ox'd for an hour then decanted and drank over 90 minutes. Sauvage, meaty, brooding nose over time gave way to some Vosne fruits and spice. Blind I would have guessed MSD or NSG. For those in favor of these more "masculine" styles this fits the bill and QPR was solid. Oak wasn't as overt as some of the other Thibault Liger Belair wines for me. This had nice weight and depth for a villages and I could see this still having a little upside as the fruit showed more and more over the 90 minutes. 07s of this quality, or better, in general seem to be in a good spot for me.

Slightly funky nose, showing spicy cherry and discreet wood as well. Lovely palate, you notice a sweetness followed by a very open and easy going texture that is classic 2007 in its character. Well done and enjoyable now.

Warm, spicy and quite intense aromas of cherries, underwood and a hint of Christmas spices. Quite open and drinking well now, medium bodied, pleasant, warm red fruits on the palate and fine acidity. Good vosne at commune level

I like this quite a bit. Fairly full and round. Tannins are present Fairly long. I would recommend drinking these in the next 5 years.

(Vin Vino Tasting) Medium color and body. Nose still a bit closed. Balanced fruit and minerality...long finish.
